ANTEDILUVIA

Antediluvia is a fictional writing project which I started work on in October 2023. It takes place in an alternate world where the geography of the earth has been shaped vastly differently by various ice ages, leading to the existence of continents such as Atlantis and Lemuria being a reality. In this reality, the earth is a flat geocentric plane which extends almost infinitely, with a firmament dome above it; Antarctica exists as a giant ice wall which encompasses the known world, however thousands of miles of unexplored lands and continents lay beyond it. The setting takes place in a long gone period of mankinds history (Stretching from 255686 to 4111 BC), known as the Antediluvian age, during which human society was highly advanced, with the existence of powerful kingdoms and empires dominating much of the known world. The Antediluvian age however ultimately came to an end, with a catastrophic global flood wiping the earth clean and destroying the great societies which once inhabited it. Only a few men, one of whom being the biblical Noah, survived this great flood, and it is through the literature that they preserved and passed down to their children that we have knowledge of this long-forgotten period in history. The works preserved by Noah are unfortunately only a small fragment of life in the Antediluvian age, but still provide deep insight into this period. So far two works are in the process of being translated: Tales of Niflheimr, and Sons of the Aesir.
